The MiniTRACE γ is a survey meter that has been specifically engineered to enhance the safety of employees in controlled areas of nuclear power plants, reprocessing facilities, treatment centers, and hospitals by measuring X and Gamma radiations.

The MiniTRACE γ survey meter is a lightweight and durable device that is designed to enhance the safety of workers in hazardous environments by measuring personal exposure to X and Gamma radiations.

Two versions of the MiniTRACE γ are available: the S10S and the S100S. Each version has its own energy and measurement range.

The MiniTRACE γ enables the evaluation of the personal exposure hazard experienced by workers in controlled zones of nuclear power plants, reprocessing facilities, treatment centers, and hospitals, in accordance with the ALARA principle (As Low As Reasonably Achievable). This assessment is intended to assist them in better adapting their daily work to the risk.input:
output:It is also user-friendly and ergonomic, and it is designed to meet the operational requirements of public service units, including firefighters, first responders, hazardous material teams, early warning and rapid response cells, and radiation protection specialists (PCR).

The MiniTRACE γ survey meter is equipped with a high level of autonomy (approximately 2,000 hours) and a fast response time of approximately 1 second, allowing it to measure the ambient dose equivalent rate H*(10) or the gamma radiation exposure levels instantaneously.

The MiniTRACE γ is also equipped with a built-in memory that can store up to 650 measured values of instantaneous and accumulated radiation dose.

In order to facilitate the integration of survey meters into a ShortLINK/SkyLINK communication network, both the MiniTRACE γ S10S and S100S are available in radio versions (S10R and S100R), with a maximum reach of 20 kilometers.
