Training Software

The Educators Toolkit™ software upgrade is a collection of three applications that enable healthcare educators to personalize their OtoSim 2™ and OphthoSim™ simulation training sessions. Professors can now enhance the effectiveness of their otoscopy and ophthalmoscopy instruction by incorporating their own ear and eye images and creating a personalized slide deck.input:

For both the OtoSim 2™ and OphthoSim™ platforms, an Educators Toolkit™ is accessible. It is composed of three modules:

Image Creator:In the OtoSim 2™ and OphthoSim™ image libraries, instructors have the ability to import their own images. In the Base Unit, tools are available to adjust the images to the appropriate size and orientation.

Image Annotator:Instructors have the ability to pre-annotate the features and landmarks of their own images. Students will be able to locate the significant anatomical landmarks that have been highlighted and review them using the Instrumented Otoscope or Ophthalmoscope.

Slide Presenter:Customized slide deck presentations can be generated by instructors for classroom training. Lecture slides may be prepared beforehand. The module is equipped with a Presenter interface that enables the direct presentation of the slides to up to 14 Base Units or an unlimited number of units via wireless repeaters. Additionally, it enables remote instruction to any Base Unit that is connected to the internet. The Presenter also includes live progress feedback to facilitate the monitoring of trainees' progress in a multi-user environment.
