Description

From its patent chambers and great vessel lumens, the Transseptal Trainer is a detailed heart. It is also visible from an exterior perspective. In order to regulate refraction and reflection, we have enclosed the heart interior in a transparent cylinder and reduced the detail of the lumen surface. This enables you to observe and train within the heart cavities. The atrial septum is puncturable and replaceable, and it is intended for catheter-based access through the IVC and into the right atrium. This allows for access to the left atrium. (SVC methodologies may also be modified.) The pulmonary veins are color-coded for orientation and are visible once they are in the left atrium.

It is feasible to train transcatheter approaches for ablation of the pulmonary veins to treat atrial fibrillation (without energy application) within this precise geometry that is derived from patient CT datasets. Scope access is enabled through the provision of ports. For optimal visualization, the anatomy may be repositioned on its base. This format for transcatheter procedures contains the heart chamber anatomy, a novel development that we believe has numerous potential applications in the fields of development and training. We would appreciate the opportunity to discuss your unique requirements and applications.Heart Anatomy with PortsIndexing BaseIVC tubeInsert for Transeptal WallsBlank Transeptal Wall Insert (#1335)
