Information regarding the actual corneal thickness is crucial, as its absence can obscure precise IOP measurements and postpone the diagnosis of glaucoma. Thicker corneas result in an overestimation of IOP values, while thinner corneas contribute to an underestimation, unless they are considered.

An examination of both eyes will be conducted fully automatically, from alignment to printing, with the simple push of a button.

IOP COMPENSATION

It is crucial to determine the central corneal thickness in order to accurately calculate the compensated intraocular pressure (IOP). The compensated IOP will be automatically determined by the TX-20P using the CCT value.
