Thumb Orthosis

The AM-D-04 thumb brace is specifically designed for skiers. In the event of “Skier’s Thumb,” it provides support for the thumb joint. Injury to the CMC joint and twisting or straining of the ulnar collateral ligament (UCL) of the thumb are the causes of this condition, which is a consequence of falling into a ski stick.

The stabilization of the joint is a highly beneficial technique for the treatment of swelling, as tendon injuries in the carpometacarpal joint of the thumb are associated with pain.
