Surgical Smoke Scavenging System
Type Of Fluid | Surgical Smoke |
Applications | Laparoscopic Surgery |
ClearFlow™ is a passive flow filter system that is employed in laparoscopic surgery to remove smoke, particulates, and aerosolized pathogens from the abdominal cavity without a loss of pneumoperitoneum. The filter facilitates a clear view of the surgical field by generating a lamina flow of smoke from the source to the filter, while the internal charcoal membrane of the filter absorbs odours and toxic chemicals.input:
output:Noiseless and effortless to install, necessitating no additional modifications throughout the procedure
The filter is positioned at a distance from the operative site, and the system is connected to the gas tap of a large-sized trocar before energy is consumed.
There are two options available, each of which is color-coded for optimal identification:
• ClearFlow™ – intended for use with monopolar energy devices
• ClearFlow™ Ultra is intended for use with laser, ultrasonic, bipolar, and monopolar energy devices. The hydrophilic system remains effective in the presence of airborne fluid from vapor and smoke.
