Do not utilize if the sterile barrier has been breached or damaged. 2) This device is intended for the exclusive use of a single patient. The risk of cross-patient contamination is present when this medical device is reused. This is due to the fact that medical devices, particularly those with long and small lumina, joints, and/or crevices between components, are difficult or impossible to clean once body fluids or tissues with potential pyrogenic or microbial contamination have come into contact with the device for an indeterminable period of time. Infectious complications may result from the contamination of the device with pyrogens or microorganisms that is promoted by the biological material residue.
