Description

The depyrogenation tunnel ensures the continuous sterilization and depyrogenation of glass containers, including vials of type R or type H, through the use of filtered high-temperature air (maximum 350°C) in laminar flow conditions. By uniformly increasing the heat, the air laps the containers vertically, resulting in a sterilization process that is completed in a shorter amount of time.input:

Containers are constructed with contact parts composed of AISI 316L stainless steel and a robust AISI 304 frame.

The tunnel entrance is safeguarded from external contamination by a vertical laminar flow, which also prevents the escape of hot air. The air is prefiltered and HEPA filtered before flowing over the vials in a laminar flow at a speed of approximately 0.4 to 0.5 m/s, as determined by the air speed measurement.input:
