Sentinel Lymph Node Detection Gamma Probe

Faxitron®’s TruNode® is the premier sterile, wireless, single-use gamma probe for routine, radioguided surgical procedures. The innovative detector and heuristic audio feedback technology of TruNode enable it to detect hotspots more effectively than existing probes. TruNode is engineered to provide the surgeon with complete control from the sterile field, enabling them to perform procedures with greater precision and less invasively.

Characteristics Simple fingertip control from the sterile field is facilitated by a proprietary User Feedback Unit, which is mounted to an IV pole. This unit provides audible and visual user feedback to facilitate the easier identification of hot spots. Three detection modes are powered by fingertip push button switches, which enable the immediate selection of high-resolution ‘Point’, high-sensitivity ‘Scan’, or I-125 ‘Seed’ modes. The single-use sterile probe eliminates the need for nursing staff to replace batteries or locate cables, relieves them of the responsibility of infection control, and is ready to be used. Designed for efficiency, this device features voice reporting, which eliminates the necessity to view the display. It is also more user-friendly and less intrusive. Built-in collimator and 10mm Gamma Probe tip cost-effective, allowing for the simultaneous deployment of multiple gamma probes, thereby eliminating the need for CAPX budgeting and rental equipment, as well as scheduling conflicts.
