The “Open” version of the Apollo DRF is our premium digital remote-controlled table, which extends diagnostic applications to interventional procedures by maximizing patient access from each table’s side.input:

The acquisition system, which is based on a 43×43 cm dynamic Flat Panel detector, enables the acquisition of every anatomic district. This is made possible by the inclusion of special functions, such as automatic stitching and Digital Subtraction Angiography (DSA).input:

Structure with an open tabletop

The patient is provided with direct and effortless access from all sides of the table with the Open design, which is based on a single-sided suspended tabletop. For interventional procedures, this configuration is particularly advantageous due to the fact that two or more operators may be in direct contact with the patient. The tabletop’s mechanical structure allows for a patient weight capacity of up to 230 kg without imposing any restrictions on the table’s mobility.input:

Different solutions can be implemented on the system to further reduce the dose to the patient during the exam, in addition to the low dose required by the high-sensitivity dynamic digital detector.

The Apollo DRF Open is equipped with a carbon fiber tabletop as a standard feature. This material has a lower X-ray attenuation than the standard plastic laminate, thereby necessitating a lower X-ray dose to obtain a diagnostic image. The automatic collimator can be equipped with motorized filters that are automatically selected in accordance with the examination procedure. The system automatically selects one of two grids that correspond to the SID.
