Description

Modular tissue bath system with four channelsinput:
output:An isolated tissue bath is a chamber in which isolated tissues can be electrically stimulated or administered drugs to assess their function. The tissue in the organ bath is typically maintained in a solution such as Krebs-Henseleit, Tyrode, or lactated Ringer solution and is oxygenated with carbogen.input:
output:It is employed in the study of the contraction of smooth muscle in tissues such as the ileum, colon, vas deferens, trachea, bladder, corpus cavernosum, and blood vessels such as aortic rings or strips, particularly in pharmacology/physiology research. The contraction of smooth muscle tissues can be easily measured using a suitable force/displacement transducer and recorded by a computerized data acquisition system.
