Pediatric Care Training Manikin

A small child, approximately three years old, is represented by the doll, which measures 90 cm in length and weighs 6 kg. This realistic training doll provides the ability to perform a variety of nursing procedures, which is particularly beneficial for the training of pediatric nurses. This plastic doll is equipped with new-style joint mechanisms that are both durable and allow for the most natural movements. Consequently, the majority of practical situations can be addressed through the implementation of nursing procedures and training. A female and male model of this diminutive child phantom are both accessible due to the interchangeable breast and abdominal wall. The abdominal walls are equipped with application points for s.c. injections and wound treatment. For example, the female abdominal wall is used to treat an OP wound following an appendectomy, while the male abdominal wall is used to treat a wound following a hernia. Injection pads are supplied for the upper arms and upper thighs. An i.v. injection arm may be substituted for the right arm. – Anus praeter openings are present in the abdominal walls to facilitate suprapubic bladder puncture and PEG.
