MERET® oxygen cylinders are produced in the United States to satisfy or surpass DOT 3AL and TC 3ALM standards. The cylinders are equipped with a clear powder coat protective finish, a green neck to indicate oxygen, and are made of a high-strength, lightweight aluminum 60610T6 alloy. The cylinders are equipped with a 0.750-16 UNF-2B thread size and are shipped with a CGA870 post valve or an optional CGA870 toggle valve to facilitate operation. MJD (Jumbo D or M22) cylinders are engineered to have a filling pressure of 2216 PSI and a hydrostatic test capacity of five years. The MJD cylinder is 16.5″ x 4.38″ and has an O2 capacity of 22 cu ft (623 L) in the absence of the valve. The MERET logo is not included in the standard shipment of all cylinders, which are shipped empty. input:
