output:The Natural Yellow lens from EyeKon Medical is capable of filtering violet light and blocking UVA. The chromophore utilized by these intraocular lenses is identical to that of a young human crystalline lens (3-HydroxyKynurenine), resulting in a light spectrum that is identical. However, some beneficial violet rays are permitted to enter. EyeKon Medical’s Natural Yellow lens is superior to other yellow IOL materials in that it filters out harmful violet rays, protecting the retina, while still allowing some beneficial violet rays to enter. This provides complete natural protection without compromising contrast sensitivity or color perception.
