output:The Nikon Ti2-LAPP system offers modular illuminators for super-resolution microscopy (N-STORM), photoactivation/conversion, photobleaching, epi-fluorescence, and total internal reflection fluorescence (TIRF). Flexible combinations of each module are possible to construct microscope systems that are tailored to the specific requirements of each researcher. For instance, a single microscope can accommodate multiple TIRF modules to facilitate fast, multi-angle TIRF imaging and anisotropy experiments. In conjunction with the stratum structure of the Ti2, a single microscope can accommodate up to five illumination modules (e.g., two TIRFs, a FRAP, a DMD, and an Epi-FL module).input:

The H-TIRF module monitors the reflection beam to automatically adjust the focus and incident angle of the laser for TIRF observation. The auto-alignment function in NIS-Elements software is responsible for the automatic adjustment of the incident angle and laser focus. It is possible to save and reproduce the incident angles and penetration depths of the evanescent fields for future experiments in order to guarantee consistent imaging results.input:
