The RA-915M Mercury Analyzer, which is equipped with a pyrolyzer PYRO-915+ and a large optical length of the analytical cell, has been designed to provide a direct determination of mercury in complex organic samples at a level of a few µg/kg without the need for pretreatment procedures.
The direct analysis of complex-matrix samples is facilitated by the use of a developed two-chamber catalyst atomizer PYRO-915+ and a RA-915M spectrometer with background correction.
The PYRO-915+ atomizer is composed of two chambers. The initial step involves the pyrolysis of solid samples and the evaporation of liquids. The temperature of the second chamber is maintained at approximately 800°C. At this location, all mercury compounds are dissociated, and smoke and interference compounds are discharged.input:

output:Transfer the sample (ranging from 20 to 300 mg) to the sample boat. Insert the sample boat into the PYRO-915+ attachment and activate the analytical cell’s integration. The analytical signal will return to the baseline within 60-120 seconds, at which point the integration process will conclude.The method is predicated on the atomization of mercury in the sample using a thermal decomposition attachment PYRO-915+, followed by the measurement of the absorption of the 254-nm resonance radiation by mercury atoms using the Zeeman correction for background absorption.FEATURES AND BENEFITSinput:
