The MGN-SIRO-4000 automated liquid handler is a sample transfer processing system. It incorporates tube decapping, tube recapping, automated liquid transfer, and barcode identification. It has the capacity to transfer 96 samples from airtight sample tubes or plain tubes to a 96-well plate in just 20 minutes, thereby significantly enhancing the detection of nucleic acids.

The conventional sample transfer method is manual, which is inefficient, error-prone, and may pose a risk of infection. The nucleic acid test for COVID-19 is widely used, and other “tube-to-plate” tests are also available.
