The compact laser diffraction sensor HELOS/BR, in conjunction with the powerful and fully-automated dry dispersion unit RODOS/L, provides fast and repeatable particle size analysis for dry, fine-grained products with a range of 0.1 µm to 875 µm. Additionally, agglomerative, cohesive powders are accurately measured and dispersed.input:

Software controls all measurement and dispersion parameters, which can be saved as retrievable measuring methods (Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)). This approach ensures that measurements are dependable and unaffected by the operator, regardless of the frequency of product and application modifications. The trigger for the measurement, the position of the dispersing line, the feed rate, and the dispersion energy can be accurately and fully automated. The powder sample is dosing through the precision vibratory feeder VIBRI/L, which ensures a uniform, controlled product supply and the optimum concentration of the sample in the measurements zone. The gentle, product-specific, and precise particle size analysis that extends into the submicron range is made possible by the flawless coordination of sensor, dosing, and dispersion.input:
output:The HELOS laser diffraction series’ modular concept enables the systematic expansion of this configuration with a variety of dispersion units and dosing options, thereby enabling the development of a plethora of additional measuring applications. The RODOS/L is optionally available in conjunction with the proven wet dispersion unit SUCELL/L to create a combined dry and wet dispersion unit OASIS/L, if frequent changes between dry and wet dispersion are necessary.
