The pE-400 Series provides the most advanced yet cost-effective illumination for fluorescence microscopy applications ranging from routine to advanced. Four robust LEDs provide comprehensive spectral coverage from 365-635 nm, making them suitable for the use of fluorophores such as DAPI, YFP, and Cy5.
Although the bright white pE-400 is the optimal lamp replacement, the four-channel pE-400max optimizes performance in applications that necessitate speed and control, including optogenetics and live cell imaging.
The pE-400 Series of LED Illumination Systems is available in the Amora Series, our proven off-the-shelf product range that has been adapted to provide unparalleled customisation opportunities.
Building upon the success of the pE-300 Series, the pE-400 is a cost-effective, controllable replacement for mercury and metal halide lamps. It is a simple bright white light Illumination System. The most popular fluorophores, including DAPI, YFP, and Cy5, are provided with intense, broad-spectrum coverage by four powerful LEDs.
The pE-400 Illumination System, which utilizes white light, allows for optimized illumination with the simple press of a button. It provides a new level of efficiency to applications such as fluorescence screening or sample visualisation on confocal setups, eliminating the inconvenience of lamps.
Safeguarding your samples
Not only does tight hardware synchronization enhance temporal resolution, but it also ensures that samples are only exposed during the acquisition process, thereby safeguarding against photobleaching and phototoxicity and expanding the limits of time-lapse studies.
