Description

The short path distillation system is intended for the distillation of thermally sensitive products in a vacuum. The system is employed for organic products with a high molecular weight and viscosity at operating temperatures.input:
output:The evaporator surface is composed of a vertical double-mantled glass cylinder that is heated by the circulation of thermal oil. Rotating PTFE wiper elements are utilized to distribute the product to a thin film on the inner surface of the evaporator. The wipers are being compressed against the inner wall of the surface, resulting in the formation of a thin liquid film that is continuously dispersed. The condenser is positioned vertically in the center of the glass evaporator to minimize the distance required for the vapors to travel and to prevent any pressure drop caused by large transfer spaces. The evaporated product is condensed by liquid flow. Enabling the operation at high vacuum, this technology reduces the boiling point of thermally sensitive extracts without decomposition.input:

The roll wipers are made of PTFE (Teflon) and are mounted on a stainless steel AISI 316 rotating wiper basket.input:
