It is capable of functioning as a standalone measuring device or can be connected to a Data Acquisition Interface (ExAO) via the integrated analog output.

The 1G-7 colorimeter is equipped with a single selection wheel and a large graphical display (6.6 cm).

The functions are easily accessible and the information is readily visible: wavelength selection, automatic zeroing (white) at the commencement of the manipulation, and the ability to switch between Transmittance and Absorbance.

The sample holder is capable of accommodating test tubes with a diameter of 14 mm or square section cuvettes with a size of 10 x 10 mm.
