Hip Orthosis

The Arctic Hip Brace is designed to be universal and easy to fit, with seven points of adjustment to ensure a superior, individualized fit. The low-profile hinge enables the controlled flexion and extension of the hip in 15° increments. The femoral head is maintained in the desired position by counterforce pressures that are generated by the combination of rigid plastic plates and two abduction/adduction adjustment points. The brace’s overall length can be easily adjusted at the waist and thigh plates by utilizing a secure fastening system that maintains its settings for the duration of the treatment protocol.

The cold therapy sleeve enables immediate post-operative cold application to assist in the reduction of inflammation, while the lightweight and low-profile hinge provides sturdy support and facilitates ROM and abduction/adduction control.

Pre- or postoperatively for hip arthroplasty or revision, arthroscopic repairs, dislocation, dysplasia, or instability, postoperative proximal hamstring repairs, and labral repairs or resections.Constructed from aluminum hinges with stainless steel and brass components, plastic cuffs, and polyester/foam soft goods with hook and loop closures. Allen tools are also included for adjustability.

Hand wash in warm water with mild soap and close all contact closures.

The product should be dried by air.

Washing and drying should not be conducted at elevated temperatures.

Refrain from using bleach or ironing.
