Patients train a variety of aspects of the grasping movement and finger extension with AMADEO®. Patients who are either barely capable of grasping or unable to grasp can execute hundreds of robot-assisted grasping movements. Biofeedback and assist-as-needed interactions are implemented to encourage the active participation of the patient’s affected hand. AMADEO® enables patients who are incapable of producing detectable force at their fingertips to receive active therapy through the inclusion of an EMG module.input:
