The MOLgen Universal Extraction Kit is an assay kit that is intended for the extraction of nucleic acids on a magnetic rack (without the use of a centrifuge) from clinical samples such as blood serum (plasma), leukocyte blood fraction, biopsy material, liquor, urine, feces, and epithelial cell scrapings. It can also be used with environmental materials such as tick suspensions and water samples. The kit can be operated manually or automatically.
The kit is intended for the extraction of nucleic acids (NA) from 96 samples, including controls. It guarantees the ability to execute four distinct procedures, each of which is responsible for the extraction of 24 specimens, including control samples.input:

This is followed by the precipitation of NA onto magnetic particles coated with silicagel, an alcohol wash procedure, and subsequent elution.
