The CAT completely obstructed the blood flow of an extremity in the event of a traumatic wound with significant hemorrhage, as demonstrated by the tests.The Gen 7 CAT employs a patented free-moving internal band that provides true circumferential pressure to the extremity, in conjunction with a durable windlass system. The bleeding will cease and the windlass will be securely fastened once it has been sufficiently tightened.
