Description

SpectroTRACER is a continuous operating measurement system that is capable of detecting nuclide-specific gamma contamination in liquids (SpectroTRACER-Aqua) and in air (SpectroTRACER-Air/Soil).

In order to identify the radionuclides that have been detected, the probe conducts a spectroscopic analysis of the measurement. SpectroTRACER is employed for radiation monitoring when a conventional gamma dose rate monitor is insufficiently effective and when it is necessary to verify the nature of the gamma radiation.

The instrument is engineered to operate in challenging environments with minimal maintenance requirements. The low power consumption of 2.5 W allows for the use of battery backup or solar power in stationary or mobile applications. LAN, WIFI, 2G/3G/4G/LTE, Satellite, or proprietary ShortLINK/SkyLINK radio are all viable options for data transmission. The latter is employed to transmit the activity data of major nuclides and the ambient dose rate.

Exact detection and identification of radionuclides: The SpectroTRACER probe is a continuous measurement system that is well-suited for the detection of the lowest gamma radiation in the air and on the ground (and in water with SpectroTRACER Aqua). It is also well-suited for the measurement of high gamma radiation, such as in emergency situations. It conducts a spectrometric analysis of the measurement to identify the radionuclides that have been detected. The device is appropriate for gamma monitoring when a pure gamma dose rate monitor is insufficiently effective or to qualify the nature of the gamma radiation.
