The AMD-US060V Veterinary Pulse Oximeter is a relatively inexpensive device that is capable of recording pulse strength, pulse rate, and arterial SpO2 for the purpose of spot checking, continuous, and noninvasive monitoring. In the clinical environment or veterinary hospital, it may be implemented.
The oximeter functions in conjunction with sensors that provide SpO2 and pulse rate on a variety of veterinary species, including horses, dogs, and cats. The alarm limits are adjustable, and the alarm signals are both visible and audible.
