“Rydwan” electric drive for an active manual wheelchair is ideal for individuals who are traveling with their wheelchair and have limited storage space for a large electric wheelchair. The electric drive will prove to be an ideal solution, enabling you to travel independently with a stroller and maintain your independence. It requires only a few seconds to transition from an electric wheelchair to a manual wheelchair and vice versa. The customer’s active trolley is equipped with the drive, eliminating the necessity to acquire a new trolley. The trolley’s electric drive enables it to effortlessly traverse even the most remote routes. The lithium-ion battery utilized in the drive enables it to travel up to 40 km, and its compact size and weight enable us to maintain a backup set of batteries and, if necessary, replace them to continue using electric driving. Lithium-ion batteries are the most contemporary batteries available, distinguished by their low weight and twice the service life of gel batteries. The drive is connected to the front tubes of the trolley by attaching two clamps to the drive’s ends. The “Rydwan” was introduced for the first time at the Rehacare 2015 Fair in Düseldorf, where it garnered significant attention and recognition from the attendees of our booth. The “Rydwan” drive is our response to customers’ inquiries regarding a drive that is compatible with both cross-type and active strollers.
