The laboratory environment is guaranteed to be free of pollutants while slicing and preparing histological slide preparations by this specialized exhaust unit, which is made of stainless steel (Material No. 14301 – ANSI 1.4301) and is to be placed on top of a table. Optimal removal of unsanitary vapors is achieved by directing airflow over the entire working area and vacuuming it out in a backward direction. Throughout the entire vacuum-effected area, the MAC (maximum allowable concentration) values for formalin are below the target. The exhaust system must be supplied by the customer in order to connect the unit.
