Positive pressure foot and negative pressure foot are the two classifications of pressure foot. The negative pressure foot can attract and press the heart, thereby stabilizing the position of the impulsion heart target coronary artery as a result of a specific amount of negative pressure in the negative pressure chest, which is provided by the attached negative pressure system. In contrast, the positive foot lacks a negative pressure system and merely positions and stabilizes the heart through mechanical pressure or friction.
