Summary
This Clifton® Immersion Dip refrigeration cooler is suitable for an immersion cooling coil, despite the absence of temperature control. Its user-friendly design renders it an ideal instrument for a wide range of cooling applications. The immersion cooler operates continuously to provide counter cooling, while the bath regulates temperature.
Immersion Coolers are environmentally friendly and can be installed on a benchtop. They eliminate the need for cold water cooling, which is a wasteful practice. Additionally, they are quiet in operation.
The Immersion Cooler operates continuously counter-cooling a Stirred or Circulating bath, and there are no controls. The water bath provides control to maintain the set temperature.
The stainless steel cooling coil is designed to be positioned in the corner of any Clifton NE4 Stirred or Circulating water bath. It is equipped with a protective outer shield and a flexible 900mm long stainless steel pipe that exits from the top of the unit. This optimizes the working area within the bath and mitigates the risk of “cold shock,” which occurs when the coil becomes freezing cold, accidentally intrudes or touches, and ruins the work.
