Automatic Cell Counter

Two types of lasers are employed.

The fluorescence is detected by excitating stained blood cells with a blue laser (488nm). Reticulocytes are identified by our proprietary algorithm.

The red laser is used to measure the 5-part difference and to determine the size and granurarity of each blood cell by analyzing the scattered light.

Blood cells are arranged in a straight line by sheath flow in the measurement path, ensuring that test results are precise.

DynaHelix Flow Technology

Sheath flow arranges blood cells in a straight line, while swirling flow pushes cells out and reduces the “re-entry” of blood cells that have passed the detection aperture.input:
