Universal design is designed to accommodate either ankle, thereby preventing inversion or eversion and providing protection.

In order to guarantee support and functionality, it is necessary to wear a stirrup brace with socks and shoes.

The Marathon Ankle Stirrup is a universal device that can be used on either the right or left ankle.

Locate the medial sticker and place the stirrup shell on the inside of the affected ankle.

Position the footpiece under the heel and place the pad against the sock.

To ensure a secure fit, adjust the heel width by relocating the adjustable foot piece on each stirrup.

Holding the shells against the ankle, wrap the lower strap around the upper strap and secure it with hook and loop closures.

Re-adjust the lower and upper straps to guarantee a proper fit after they have been fastened.

The fit should be snug, but not so tight that it impairs circulation or causes pinching.

Disinfectant or mild soap may be employed, and the area should be thoroughly dried.

Hand wash the liner in warm water with mild soap and allow it to air dry for products that have a removable liner.

Washing and drying should not be conducted at elevated temperatures.
